I have to agree with those who have preferred this ice tea maker to the Mr. Coffee ice tea maker. The Mr.Coffee maker produces good tea, but the Hamilton Beach makes excellent tea with fewer tea bags or loose tea. It is also a better design that takes up less space in the refrigerator and storage space on the kitchen counter. The adjustable dial has a mesh strainer that allows you to use loose tea, which is more economical than bagged tea, and in my opinion, produces a more flavorful brew. In fact, if you open the tea bags and put the leaves in loose you will use fewer bags to make your ice tea. This takes a little experimentation, but I think you will be happy with this tea maker. As other reviewers have noted, it is very easy to clean. One advantage that the Mr. Coffee maker may have over the Hamilton Beach model is that you can make fewer than two quarts of ice tea if you wish. (Mr. Coffee allows 1-2-or 3 quarts) The Hamilton Beach maker requires a specific amount of water and, per the manufacturer's instructions, no less should be used. However, when I make ice tea, I make at least two quarts, so I don't see this as a draw back. I love this ice tea maker! It is a little more expensive than the Mr. Coffee model but worth the investment.
We got this as a replacement for another iced tea maker we used to have. After using it and liking it so much, we decided to give one as a present for Mother's Day. The ease of using it and the oblong shape make it super easy to use and store.

The shape of the pitcher fits nicely into our refrigerator and does not take up a lot of space like the round pitchers do. This was a major consideration in purchasing our first one and then giving this as a gift. You will not be disappointed if you get this one.
We love iced tea and make it all year round. The Mr. Coffee machine for this we had before was a constant problem. When the pitcher finally cracked on us, we could not seem to find a replacement, even from their website, so we decided to buy an entirely new unit. I read the positive reviews about the Hamilton Beach machine on Amazon and decided to purchase one. So far, my husband and I are delighted with the quality and the ease of use of this machine. I highly recommend it!
I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Maker. At first, I thought I should get a Mr. Coffee one, as there were many reviews online at various websites. A lot of people, however, stated they liked the machine, but the pitcher split down the front due to poor construction from a seam that runs from the spout to the base. Due to this, I reconsidered my decision and purchased the Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Maker due to many great reviews on this website. I have to say that it is VERY easy to use and makes a great pitcher of iced tea! The other nice feature is that the tea bags sit on top of the filter in the pitcher itself, not in the machine, so there is no way that you would forget them and have a soggy moldy mess. The pitcher is very durable and appears strong, and is oblong, which fits great in the fridge! If you like sweetened tea (like me), all you need to do is place some sugar in the pitcher before adding ice and let the machine do the work! This was a great purchase that I am planning to enjoy for a long time!

I, too, used a Mr. Coffee for years. Finally threw the machine away because it was too problematic. Hated the pitchers, hated the dripping hot water; and hated waiting to drink my iced tea. I never could get the pitchers properly clean.

The Hamilton beach is easy to use. I have tea in minutes, not half an hour. The pitcher fits in my fridge door. I love the convenience. And it makes great tea - using bags or loose tea - without separate filters.

Would recommend to anyone looking for an iced tea maker.

Coffee drinkers have their automatic brewers, why shouldn't tea drinkers? Ideal for family gatherings or summer picnics, this ingenious Hamilton Beach machine brews up a pitcher full of iced tea in less than ten minutes. After the pitcher is filled with ice cubes, tea (either loose or bags) is placed in the special paperless filter, and an adjustment for mild, medium, or strong brewing is selected. The lid snaps on. A receptacle slides out from underneath the heating unit which then holds the pitcher snugly in place. Water is added to the heating unit, the power button pushed, and the hot water drips through the tea filter into the pitcher of ice. When brewing is complete, the power automatically shuts off for safety. Complete directions for use are embossed on the slide-out receptacle, which eliminates worries about losing a user guide. Although the iced tea maker looks bulky when assembled, the pitcher inverts snugly over the heating unit for compact storage. Able to fit in most refrigerator doors, the 2-quart pitcher features a hollow, comfortable handle and a thumb release for the lid, but is not dishwasher-safe. This cooker is an huge improvement over my $20 padle-controlled cooker. Nice selection of options and it cooks and entire batch of rice correctly every time. I really like the warming mode after cooking, it makes timing the meal much easier.

My previous cooker regularly over cooked the bottom. I had to double the batch to get the amount I wanted. Or I would try the stovetop, ususlly with similar results.

Other reviews complained about the length of time it takes to cook a batch of rice. While it is true that a 20 minute stovetop batch becomes a 40-50 minute batch, the rice is cooked to perfection. Is cooking a batch of dry and burnt rice in 20 minutes really a comparison?

I find that cleanup is quite easy if I remove the cover from the lid and wash it before the residue dries. The cooking pan is teflon so is easy to clean when I remove any leftovers to the refrigerator. The retractable power cord is way cool, makes storage easy.

The instructions are a little light on cooking grains other than rice. Not surprising given it is a rice cooker. I will have to do some experimentation on cooking Kashi.
Definitely as advertised. It has made my wife very happy. I highly recommend purchase of this model, as it cooks excellent rice every single time.
A cheerful little product. Well made, well priced, and well cooked. Cleaning is easy, and the cord storage is wonderful (automatic retracting power cords should be a law for all small appliances). I haven't had any troubles of any kind.

So I've been raised on 'instant' rice, and I just got this rice cooker - and it makes me sad that I was missing out on this delicious rice all those years.

I've cooked around 5 different kinds of rice in this thing (sushi, brown, sweet, basmati, wild rice), and each and every batch has come out absolutely perfect.

I'm dying to try out the porridge feature, I'll have to pick some up soon. One of the coolest features on this cooker is the timer. You set the time you want the rice to be done, and voila, the rice is done for you at exactly that time. So if you don't want to wait around for dinner after you get home, dinner will be waiting for you.

This thing even plays music in place of timer beeps. How cool is that?

This rice cooker is definitely worth paying a little extra more for. It does everything you could possibly want out of a rice cooker and more.
I received this rice cooker today. I was torn with the size. Can I feed my family, and have leftovers with this? We are a family of five and was torn between the ten cup and the 5.5. After I ordered the 5.5 I really felt like I should have ordered the 10 cup, even though I am not crazy about adding more appliances to my limited counter space. Most reviews don't mention how much this cooker will feed. Well, for my family, we all ate to our hearts content and still had plenty of leftovers. Given that my kids are all eight and under, we don't need a larger cooker. It was quite a bit of rice that it makes! I can probably feed 7 people easily with this cooker. If you entertain a lot, or eat a lot (hello carbs) I'd go the next size up, not a big price difference. It produced excellent Sushi rice, not burned at all on the bottom, a first for me! I have gone from a fancy $$$ Breville, to an Oster and they all burned on the bottom. This came out perfect from the first try. I recommend this rice cooker, didn't give it a five, because I have not had it long enough to give it a perfect rating. Best appliance I have bought in years. Also, would like to add that it plays a cute tune when it starts the cook cycle. It is a unique appliance.

We purchased this for our Niece's Christmas gift. As far as we know she loves it.
I bought this for my daughter's third birthday, she loves horses! She asks to bring it out very often... and loves stamping and coloring her creations. She even brought one of her pictures that she made to her class' show and tell at preschool. A wonderful tool for creativity and to keep her busy inside during the winter!
A very nice stamp set for a young horse lover. The wooden holdng case is convenient and keeps the set contained and there is a nice variety of stamps. The color pencils are a nice plus which my daughter really likes.
My daughter loves horses and playing with stamps so this set was a perfect match for her. My daughter loves this set. The only problem that I have with this set is the clean up. Now, I don't know much about stamping; but my mother does and she has a pad that you can spray a cleaner on and brush the stamps clean. This set didn't come with anything to make clean up easy.
"Santa" brought this for my daughter who loves horses. She used it many times already since Christmas day and has made many pictures with the stamps. She thoroughly enjoys it and it is durable as are all the Melissa and Doug products that we've owned.

I guess I didn't realize how old Elmo is...there are clips of him with Ruth Buzzi and a very young Julia Roberts. Also, the song "Five" is a repeat for us, because it's on the "1,2,3 Count with Me" DVD, which we have. Overall, though, I still really like this DVD. It has catchy songs, a good selection of other characters, and (most importantly) it keeps my two-year-old son engaged. There aren't any "Elmo's World" segments, which is kind of a good thing. There are several Elmo's World DVDs out there to choose from, so this one is kind of unique.
The story line is that Elmo is trying to decide which of his drawings he should put in the monster art show, and as he shows them to his friends to get advice, he winds up giving them all away. Each drawing represents one of his "best of" scenes through the years.
Cute story line, fun scenes, and - of course - plenty of Elmo for your little ones.
Its a cute video with Elmo songs and dances. I gave it a 4 star because it was pricey for only 35 minutes, and it could have been longer and it could have included other, even better songs. But, overall, our daughter really enjoys it.
my 19 month old loves elmo and this elmo story is great. all the stories are tied together with the theme of which picture elmo should enter in the monster art contest. the songs are cute. there were two parts that my 19 month old found too intense and I just skippped through them. They were of Julia Roberts showing this is what being afraid looks like and the other was telly showing heavy vs. elmo showing light. It appeared that telly was being hurt. but all in all, I'd say buy this oneif your little one likes elmo. I find myself singing elmo's song while doing chores. It's catchy. The baby likes it because of all the la la las instead of words.
This is the first Elmo DVD we purchased for our 15 month old son and he LOVES it! We have gotten a few others since, but he still likes this one the BEST!
Even the story connectors between the actual Sesame Street video clips are well done. The songs are great. Both of my kids love this video.
TheSesame Streetcharacter has fun singing some catchy new songs (you and your toddler just might, too), explaining the difference between light and heavy, having a laugh over pictures and numbers, and sharing the screen with a good-natured Whoopi Goldberg and Julia Roberts. Of the various Elmo videos, this one really does have the choicest material and stands up to repeat viewings--a big plus with little ones.--Tom Keogh

As an Idol contestant, Kelli was adorable but a little rough around the edges. She has really polished her music.
I didn't know much about Kellie Pickler until several months after her debut album Small Town Girl dropped. On iTunes I decided to check out her first single "Red High Heels" and, at first, couldn't stand it--but subsequent listens proved to lure me in and, eventually, I became more interested in the former Idol instead of dismissing her. I'm not a major fan of country music, although I can enjoy it on occasion, and it wasn't until I heard the heartfelt ballad "I Wonder" that I decided Small Town Girl deserved a further listen. Despite its hurried release, Pickler's debut is a hugely enjoyable piece of mainstream country, from its likable opening number and Top 10 second single "I Wonder" to, in all honesty, everything else! Pickler isn't an amazing singer in terms of originality (her nasal delivery is sweet, but unoriginal in comparison to other females of the genre), but she's undoubtedly talented, funny, witty and--probably most important in terms of her country fan base--still very much a "small town girl" at heart, which (more than anything) sells this startlingly consistent album.
Made me cry in my car as I listened to "I Wonder". Don't worry, the other tracks are fun and good funky country music. We all love Kellie Pickler for being so refreshingly human.
Now here is a real country girl who deserves everything that has come her way. Kellie has a great voice, and knows how to handle an audience. It is very obvious that Kellie belongs on a stage singing. Kellie is here for the long haul.
Kellie's CD is great from beginning to end. She has the voice and heart of an angel. She co-wrote several of the songs. She sings from the heart. She has been ridiculed for her performance on Smarter than a 5th Grader which is totally uncalled for. She was doing what the show required but people can't seem to grasp that concept. I have purchased several of her CD's for gifts and the people who received them absolutely loved them. KELLIE PICKLER FAN FOREVER!
This debut album by the small-town girl with the big, powerhouse voice showcases two distinctly different sides of Kellie Pickler's music. The hard-riffing uptempo material recalls the heartland rock of Bob Seger and John Mellencamp, with Pickler providing a good-ole-girl twang. Among the highlights are the emancipated strut of "Red High Heels," the playful humor of "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind," and the tomboy bluesiness of "One of the Guys." Yet theAmerican Idolfinalist turns pure diva on the over-the-top balladry of the album's other half, with swelling strings and arrangements that overpower rather than enhance "I Wonder" and "I'm on My Way." On such cuts, producer Blake Chancey (Dixie Chicks) never gives Pickler a chance to show the subtlety and nuance that makes music more an art than a competition.--Don McLeese

My 1 year old can count to 14! The songs are funny and the both my kids love to watch it.
This funny&entertaining video helps teach young kids to count. Each number has a catchy little song; the whole family enjoys it. My husband confessed to whistling these tunes while at work! This DVD has helped all my kids learn to count. Also, try Sesame Street's "Learning About Letters" for the alphabet.
It is ok dvd. But the style is bit old. I think the numbers are flashing too fast. If children watch for long time I guess it would not be so good for their eyes.
We bought this DVD about two weeks ago and already my 20-month old daughter has counted to three a couple of times (with a little assistance, but that's still pretty awesome in my opinion). She was not counting at all before this. I've also heard her saying random numbers out of order without my prompting.

My daughter loves every character. I've read the bad reviews of Benny the Bunny, but I think it's been blown out of proportion. Sure he's surly, but so are people in real life. It also gave me a chance to explain to my daughter that people get crabby.

She's allowed half an hour of tv twice a day, and for the past two weeks she's been choosing this DVD every time.
Our two-and-a-half year old really got into this, but didn't like "learning about numbers" at all, except for one little sequence that show 2 girls playing with a dollhouse. the two dvds are actually quite different: this one features elmo and ernie and feels very much geared toward children while "learning about numbers" actually seems like they were trying to entertain children and adults at the same time by adopting a mock talk show format where big bird is supposed to be some kind of jay leno standup. plus there is a lot of "The Count" in that LAN, and our toddler didn't like him at all! Much better choice, I think, for toddlers. Only weakness is that they give short shrift or even skip over certain numbers between 1-20. Some kind of brainless editing decision by somebody who didn't get enought sleep, no doubt.

I love Splenda. I started using it when I began Weight Watchers because it was a simple way to cut points out of my morning cup of tea. The packets are great, and I love that you can buy them in bulk like this. However, I only gave this item 4 stars because I took one away for the price. While it is still cheaper than the price of the small boxes at local grocery stores, if you have a sam's club membership, a box of 1000 packets is only 18.99 plus tax. If you order it on the website, they will pull the item for you and you can pick it up at the courtesy desk at your local store the next day, no need to go searching. it may be worth it to check out the other bulk stores as well.
We love Splenda and buy it all the time from the grocery store. This is a fantastic savings, and we received it in 2 days. Cross one more item off that grocery list!
I always buy my Splenda from Amazon, it is cheaper here than at my local Sam's Club, plus saves me the local sales tax.
Splenda is an awesome sweatener w/o the after taste. The 700 count means we can take it to restaurants and potlucks with us, since most don't offer it. The box may last us several months, but it is still worth the savings from "subscribe and save" with Amazon.
I like t he price on this large box of individual packets of Splenda. I am tired of paying $7.00 for 100, I would rather pay $16 for 700.

- Elastic strap placed too low and cuts into ears.
- Mask contours blocks just enough light from the bottom to make these worthless.
- Raised contours don't cover eyes, so mask presses on eyes anyway.
- By the time I wake up, the mask has made its way to my forehead, regardless of how tight it was.
- Flimsy lightweight material.

If these cost more than 50 cents a pop to mass produce, these sellers are being ripped off.

I have used several eye masks over the years due to the fact that I work nights and need to have it dark when I sleep during the day. After hearing personal testimonials about how drastically this changed their hair, I thought I would give my fine hair a treat. After three weeks of using the product, I didn't see any miracles. In fact, it made my hair feel like straw - it looked very damaged and processed. I'll go back to using my salon quality hair products. I have much better results.
I was very skeptical about using a product that claims it works on ALL hair types. I have super, super, thick corse African American hair. After the very first use I noticed a huge difference in my hair. After I blew my hair dry I noticed that my hair had a more bounce to it. There was a even bigger difference after I used my ceramic flat iron. My hair was sooooo much softer. I don't think my hair has ever been this soft. It also shiner. My ends look and much feel less dry and my hair is clean too. The longer you leave it on the better it works. This product works very, very well.

The only negative is that when I ordered it directly from the number on Chaz Dean's site I had to wait over a month to get this as it was on back order. I received no e-mail or phone call letting me know that this product would be delayed. I paid for express shipping and had a little resistance when I called to get reimbursed for it. I would recommend buying it from a source other than their website. The price is a little steep but it really is worth it.
I ordered the Wen hair care system, all of the products. They do leave your hair soft and shiny -- I liked the product a lot but if you use it according to the directions --especially for long hair-- you will have drained the entire bottle in approx. 15 days. So, if you can afford 2 bottles of this stuff per month, totaling $40 - $60 then go for it. No shampoo is worth THAT much money to me!
I saw an infomercial on TV on the WEN Sweet Almond Mint Conditioner and it seemed to be what I was looking for. It said it was for fine hair and that it was better than using a shampoo. I used it sparingly the first time because I was skeptical and I found it to make my hair limp. I have very fine hair and it seemed to retain too much oil in the hair and made it seem like I didn't even wash it. I cannot use it in place of a good shampoo but sometimes (since I have the bottle and don't want to throw it away) use it after I blow dry my hair just a drop or two to tame the the fly-aways. Unfortunately with my hair type I cannot just use this product by itself.
First tried the Cucumber Aloe WEN line and it stripped my brand new professional hair color almost completely. Called WEN and they agreed to send the Sweet Almond line. With one use of this second line, when I took the towel off my head, I was shocked to see nearly white blonde hair and orange roots. I'm a natural brunette whose hair just gets blondish as it grows out so I'd had it lowlighted with chocolate and pecan color and loved it--for two days. WEN arrived the very day I'd had it colored in April and that's was the end of the color. I'm sending it all back. Just wish I could get WEN to pay for another professional color.

Also, my hair's health and texture is no different than before I started using it. I give it one star only because I like the smell of both lines.

the ps2 slim. no mater the color black,white,silver,[ i have the limited edition silver] the ps2 has proven its self whole heartedly if your a budgett gamer or waiting for the ps3 to drop down to a reasonable price the ps2 slim is the way to go. smaller,lighter and a few more features than the original ps2 ive had mine for 3-4 months now and i leave it on nearly 24/7 and it never complains haha. a firend of mine bought the orignial ps2 and it would freeze often in mid game but i dont have tha problem with my slim.but even thought it can read dvd movies dont expect it 2 play any than other than brand spankin new movies. it is a picky dvd player so i just use it as its main pupose a gaming system. i have a 5 disc dvd changer so i aint the least bit off-struck at its poor dvd feature.do i recomend this system? hell yes! if i were a billionaire i would buy every one a ps2 haha.plus there are[in my openion] the best games for any system[excluding next gen systems]. and on that note while your adding this to your shping cart pick up god of war and god of war 2. you will be blown away at the capablites of the ps2.

I will keep it short and sweet. I bought an Xbox 360 Elite about a month ago. Aweesome graphics, tons of storage, online gaming. But it is sitting next to my TV collecting dust. I rarely use it. I bought a PS2 as a reccomendation from a friend. MAN! this thing rocks! First off, the thing is absolutely TINY. About the size of a large paper back book. 2nd, TONS of games! I bought Capcom Classics for $30, which came with about a dozen or so classic arcade games that I grew up with, most notibly for me SFII and all the assorted editions up to SFII Hyper Fighting. 3rd is the games are cheap, and the system is cheap! $129 for a game system with tons of titles, many in the $10 to $20 range. I got GTA III, GTAVC, And GTASA for $30. When they first came out, they easily would have cost me $180 plus tax.

The PS2 takes me back to when games focused on being FUN! Not worring about how many pixels were being pushed on the screen and how fast. The PS2 is the best system out there right now hands down. I was considering purchasing a PS3, and I still might get one, but just for the Blu-Ray drive. I don't think I would play any of the PS3 games, the PS2 games are cheaper and more entertaining than fancy graphics.

The ONLY negative I have with the PS2 is the egronomics of the controller. The Xbox and 360 controllers are more comfortable at least for me. I do not like the analog sticks at the bottom, they are not stiff enough for me, and the travel is too far. I am currently looking for aftermarket controllers. The square, X, circle, and triangle can be confusing at first for those fo you used to the regular abxy.
This game console is tiny, easy to set up and works great. You barely even notice it sitting on top of the TV.
I've had the original Playstation and playstation One systems when I was younger, and I was spectacle when I saw the Playstation 2 came out. I purchased one and I'm glad I did. The graphics are pretty decent and it has a great game library. (much better than it's brother... PS3)Not to mention that it's inexpensive and it lasts a long time. Not like this other new crap they're putting out that keeps breaking down like the Xbox 360. Why charge so much money for something that breaks down alot? Does that make sense to you? If you wanta good system that will last you a while get this one. It's only $130, better than paying $400 for a peice of junk. Am I right?
I was shocked by how small, thin, and light weight this version of the console is. I was so shocked I started wonder if it even performs all of the same functions as the original PS2...and so happens it does! Great purchase, great product. Worth every penny.

There was some sort of screw up with the postal service and they claim the package was delivered, but I have yet to receive it and it's now been four weeks. I know the company I bought it from can't really do much because there end of the purchase was apparently technically fulfilled, but I have yet to receive the package and all they told me was it was marked as received and if someone stole it then thats a federal crime. So I'm now without a Polaroid camera and out like $20.
This camera arrived in great condition, despite the poor packaging and wrapping.
It was packed in a soft cardboard box wrapped in Christmas paper, with no instructions, or original paperwork. I did have small bubble wrap surrounding it that kept it intact.
Shipping was slow, but the product is great.
Polaroid is a popular camera brand, especially its instant cameras. Unlike other cameras such as Kodak, Canon, and Vivitar, it is self-protected when you close the front top hood down. It is well prolonging and does not require any batteries at all. All you need is brand new or fresh Polaroid 600, 600 Plus, or 600 Platinum film which can be inserted into the base of the camera. Then, a green light appears/glows and you will be set to take awesome pictures. Another reason why this camera is popular is because you get the pictures instantly.
I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go. The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes ojects closer to the camera larger in proportion to ojects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would whole-eartedly recommend it for anyone.
This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actual picture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but I wouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment for the refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or for quick viewing. Thats why I like it because the pictures are nice to look at, but they're not priceless pictures that you treasure. So in conclusion, I would highly recommend this camera for fun and quick purposes.

I am an old-school gamer, and I originally bought this package because I wanted to play the original Unreal on windows xp. Since then, I have stumbled onto Unreal Tournament 2004 and have spent COUNTLESS hours playing that title. Expect fast and and furious action, stunning graphics, and a super-smooth control interface in UT04. It is the most fun you can have on a computer. Since I purchased this, I have upgraded my system and am now ready for Unreal Tournament 3!!! In my opinion there are 2 reasons why you MUST buy this package. #1, because you are a big fan of this series, and #2, because you are unfamiliar with this series. This title has not left my DVD drive since installation, which was well over a month ago!!!
super fun for the short attention span. no boring puzzles and a totally ignorable plot= instant fast-paced action. and it's cool to have everything on one disk, and you don't need the disk to play after you load it.
For [...], you're NOT going to find a better gaming value!! The only downside (easily corrected) is that newer systems will need to download two small files to make the game run at normal speed (Core2Duo's make the game operate too fast). [...]. The 1999 Unreal Tournament still has an active online community because its a fantastic game and will run very well on the vast majority of modern PC's. Despite how great this game is, you'll be able to reap even more gaming value through the countless, free modifications made by the gaming community. Things like community-made voicepaks, maps, models, skins, and weapons will keep you coming back for more.
Then of course, UT2K4 is included. Yet another great first person shooter. Do not pass this bargain up!!
This is a great game for under $15. There is no reason to play anything but unreal tournament 2, but it's still a great price just for that, especially if your pc can't run the newest unreal tournament. The two non-tournament games are border line terrible, compared to other single-player FPSs. And there's no reason to play unreal tournament 1 after you've played 2. But just 2 is still worth it.
this is a good deal you get 4 games for a cheap price . i agree after playing unreal-2004 and unreal 2. you really woudnt want to try the other 2 games due to their outdated graphics. but then unreal 2004 is a lovely game for which alone i feel the price is a good deal.
i really wanted the unreal2004 for its online play. so i went for this package and its totally worth it.

If you are a fan of 80's pop music, then this is a great movie to watch. It has a classic "good girl-boy from the wrong side of the tracks" storyline. The acting is superb, but Jessica Steen (the good girl) does give a great performance as do some of the other supporting actors. The movie is interspersed with great music that culminates with great musical numbers at the end. If you are a fan classic 80's movies, then this is a must see.
There is absolutely no denying that is a horribly acted piece of tripe. There are no redeeming qualities. And to whomever mentioned things like Grease&West Side Story in the same post with this movie should be throttled and committed.

Don't waste your time. Get a GOOD musical. Oklahoma, South Pacific, Paint Your Wagon, Carousel, Grease, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Singin' in the Rain, and the myriad of others made in the 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond.

You will never get the time back you waste with this "film".
This movie is a poorly acted attempt at a musical. The only redeeming part is the ending with the different high school classes performing their end-of-the-year presentation. That, alone, is worth the money.
Midwest girl here that never heard of Sing before the movie. I loved it and had to replace my copy years ago. I would love to get a copy of the Soundtrack because I thought that was as great.
I'm a sucka for a good SING movie... I own movies that move the spirit and soul... such as JESUS-SUPERSTAR/ Grease (BOTH)... FAME&series version... West Side Story/ Rooftops/ Salsa/ Sound Of Music/ Anything with a pulse and step... I was hooked.

Coming from a kid from the Arts... "SING" was expected, to be added to my favorite of collectables. From my Non-Art-Inspired Peers, I got ridiculed - badly, over this flick. But then again, they would never understand... "SING" -- as I DO!.

OKAY -- it wasn't the actors'/actresses' BEST work, but it was REAL enough to be directed and performed as if from REAL LIFE HIGH-SCHOOLERS... They were acting like REAL STUDENTS/ TEACHERS&STAFF!!!

My sister had trophies for "SING"... (I always wanted to prove to her, I CAN DO IT, TOO!) so it took me back -- When I came into her grade; but then, that program was DEAD and long gone!

Oh well... I'm waiting for this to make DVD ARCHIVES!!! Can someone tell me HOW I CAN PUSH THIS???? OR DO I HAVE TO ENDORSE IT, FOR SOLO?

I loved it... for what its worth! Some great MORAL-TYPE MOVIES,(even thoughs low budgeted) never get the recognition they DESERVE! WE SHOULD EMBRACE our VOICE.. OUR SONG... we should endorse in SING -- LET IT COME TO DVD TOO! and BE rebirthed into our schools...but this time tickle the vocals chords of our early mockingbirds in GRADE SCHOOL... so we all get a chance to "SING"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always have to debunk those negative remarks when it comes to military movies. First of all, the U.S. government is not going to allow a true movie to come about any mission. Secondly, the director got the idea from someone who was obviously involved in this situation so don't blame them, blame the person who told it. Black Hawk Down contained fallacies itself. Don't believe me? The next time you watch a "military" movie, watch it with a servicemember: They will find something wrong. ACTUAL REPRESENTATION IS NOT ALLOWED.

I enjoyed this movie immensely: The actors work well together and it imparts the idea that everyone has a reason for joining the military. It is interesting and I am happy to have it as part of my movie collection.

It is a crying shame that the producers of this piece of crap chose to use this title. First Battalion Ninth Marine Regiment nicknamed"The Walking Dead"has been done a tremendous discredit by having their name associated with such Hollywood garbage. Read the book instead and don't waste one penny on this junk. The real story of 1/9 would make a tremendous movie.
A preacher fleeing a town in which he murdered his wife and her lover, a teenage boy showing his love to his high school sweetheart, a former meatpacker trying to get money to start his own business, a mechanic trying to get onbase housing and fleeing housing discrimination in L.A., and a trigger happy guy fleeing the mob. This crew unites in The Marine Corps on a rescue mission that turns out to be a decoy mission. Hoover (Eddie Griffin) makes the movie enjoyable while Sgt. Barkley (joe Morton) keeps it military. Cole ( Allen Payne) keeps it real with the tiki and his insistence on not calling Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay. This movie covers the Black Veteran in Vietnam in a dramatic way.
Starring Allen Payne and Eddie Griffin, five young marines are on a deadly mission in a desperate struggle for survival. How did they get to be there - and how are they going to get out alive?

Where do I begin to tell you what a relief to see that this classic has been made available for home viewing. It was 1975 and I was 11 years old watching late night TV when a movie, I have never heard of, came on and I was immediately drawn in. Truly captivated by Anthony Newley and Sandy Dennis. I was exposed to my very first tear-jerker and to say I was touched would be a complete understatement. For years, every week I would scan through my TV Guide to find it but to no avail. This was a day when all Movies did not go to VHS after it's release. In my 20's I actually went to see Anthony Newley live in "Stop The World I Want To Get Off" (which he wrote and starred in) at a local theatre. My quest was to meet him and ask when I will see "Sweet November" again. After the show I begged to go backstage to meet him and my wishes were granted. There he was, a little man in a grey sweat suit still drying his hair with a towel. He was thrilled that I asked and responded that he had just had lunch with the writer of the movie the other day and "Sweet November's" future came up. No plans were set in stone at that time, he said. Fast forward, Anthony passed on and low and behold the rebirth of Sweet November came to life with Keanu Reeves. Unfortunately to my dismay it couldn't hold a candle to the original which will always have a special place in my heart. I am now 43 and oddly my daughter (my Angel) was born in November. Guess what I call her? Buy this movie!

I just thought of this and bought it instantly. If you want to draw comparisons, do so with Backstreet and Madam X but NOT the Keanu Reeves version. Much as I adore Keanu, his cannot compare to the Anthony Newley/Sandy Dennis combination that was the first Sweet November. I saw this movie when it opened in NYC (in those days to see first run movies you had to go uptown to the big theatres - local theatres would get them about a month or two later). I was 17 and remembered the last time I felt my heart break for a movie was West Side Story. I must thank Barry Eysman who wrote his review in 2002. It said beautifully everything I would like to say. My eyes filled up when I read it. I think the thing that made the original characters so appealing was they were not drop-dead gorgeous with leading man/lady good looks. They were believable. I felt as if I knew these people or at least could know them and relate to them. Since I saw this movie, every time I smell a new perfume on someone that appeals to me, I say "you smell like the main floor of Bloomingdale's".
My college sweetheart, with whom I have reunited after 35 years, and I saw this unforgetable movie as a Sneak Preview in 1968. It was the most beautiful, but heart-wrenching movie I ever saw. The two of us remember crying in the car for a couple of hours after leaving the theatre. This movie shows true love never to be forgotten, with an ending that we shall remember for a lifetime.
How wonderful there are reviews by customers who so much like this movie. who have also longed to see it again and who have waited for it to be available. I too love it, have remembered it vividly ever since it was first released, and think it a great thing to have it finally here.

Anthony Newley and Sandy Dennis worked beautifully together. Theodore Bikel is so comforting, strong and protective. It is a tender, sad and beguiling story by Herman Raucher, every bit the equal of his"Summer of '42"and that is complimenting it indeed. A rare and heady blend of deepest emotion, of what love can do to persons, and what the terrible thrusting of the end of the world causes--the bittersweet romance, the gone away, but not in the heart ever leaving, the one special romance that aches the soul is always the finest, the most cherished.

Unabashedly bigger than life, very much an old fashioned"romantic film,"filled with happiness and passion, and captivating. I've loved Anthony Newley for most of my life. Sandy Dennis is one of my favorite actresses. It needed no remake. Keneau Reeves in the Newley role? Oh, please, no. There is just this one and only classic November. It is impossible not to weep when Charlie so desperately wants Sweet November to stay, to capture the fleeting time, and to make a calander with only that month forever on it, caught in amber.

Which is what this film has done. How can anyone not fall in love with a story in which Charlie names the sweater Sarah makes for him, because he loves it,"Rex"? New York has never been more captivating. Michel LeGrand's music is sublime. Fall and Thanksgiving and Sarah and Charlie and a most creatively sided box, and snow falling on the skylight. What more could a person wish for? The final magnificent song by Newley and Leslie Bricusse, sung in that electrifying Newley voice that will never be equaled, as the snow comes falling down around him on a park bench, his final goodbye, encompassing all the knowledge Sarah has given to him, for all hellos are goodbyes in disguise, breaks my heart every time I hear it. There can be no better, wiser"sentimental education."

Even if Sandy Dennis did not look like my first love, I would have liked her immensely--tender, sad and trembly always it seemed, a delicate rose at the beginning of Fall, all the more lyrical for that. But November can't stay; it's why autumn is so magical. Now that both actors are so sadly gone, we have this gift of love and innocence to remember them by; a study of the kind of affection that counts, that gets into the bones, and joyous memories edged with the patina of sadness. New York in autumn has always seemed the best place in the world to me. This film has proven me right.

Forever bless Anthony Newley, a giant of the musical stage, a sad sweet wise clown whose heart always seemed to be breaking; nevermore so than here. And Sandy Dennis,"mostly woman, mostly child."

The heart remembers, for that way, November is never"wintry and gray". Thanks to grand films like this, we see firmly, just why.

THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE! BETTER THAN THE REMAKE WITH KEANNU AND CHARLIZE! THERE AREN'T ANY GROSS LOVE SCENES AND THIS ONE IS BETTER PLAYED OUT. IT'S SUCH A SWEET ROMANTIC MOVIE. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS WAS THE ENDING. BUT NOW I CAN WATCH IT OVER AGAIN. :)
