The Mr.Coffee maker produces good tea, but the Hamilton Beach makes excellent tea with fewer tea bags or loose tea. It is also a better design that takes up less space in the refrigerator and storage space on the kitchen counter. The adjustable dial has a mesh strainer that allows you to use loose tea, which is more economical than bagged tea, and in my opinion, produces a more flavorful brew. In fact, if you open the tea bags and put the leaves in loose you will use fewer bags to make your ice tea. This takes a little experimentation, but I think you will be happy with this tea maker. As other reviewers have noted, it is very easy to clean. One advantage that the Mr. Coffee maker may have over the Hamilton Beach model is that you can make fewer than two quarts of ice tea if you wish. (Mr. Coffee allows 1-2-or 3 quarts) The Hamilton Beach maker requires a specific amount of water and, per the manufacturer's instructions, no less should be used. However, when I make ice tea, I make at least two quarts, so I don't see this as a draw back. I love this ice tea maker! It is a little more expensive than the Mr. Coffee model but worth the investment. We got this as a replacement for another iced tea maker we used to have. After using it and liking it so much, we decided to give one as a present for Mother's Day. The ease of using it and the oblong shape make it super easy to use and store. The shape of the pitcher fits nicely into our refrigerator and does not take up a lot of space like the round pitchers do. This was a major consideration in purchasing our first one and then giving this as a gift. You will not be disappointed if you get this one. We love iced tea and make it all year round. The Mr. Coffee machine for this we had before was a constant problem. When the pitcher finally cracked on us, we could not seem to find a replacement, even from their website, so we decided to buy an entirely new unit. I read the positive reviews about the Hamilton Beach machine on Amazon and decided to purchase one. So far, my husband and I are delighted with the quality and the ease of use of this machine. I highly recommend it! I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Maker. At first, I thought I should get a Mr. Coffee one, as there were many reviews online at various websites. A lot of people, however, stated they liked the machine, but the pitcher split down the front due to poor construction from a seam that runs from the spout to the base. Due to this, I reconsidered my decision and purchased the Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Maker due to many great reviews on this website. I have to say that it is VERY easy to use and makes a great pitcher of iced tea! The other nice feature is that the tea bags sit on top of the filter in the pitcher itself, not in the machine, so there is no way that you would forget them and have a soggy moldy mess. The pitcher is very durable and appears strong, and is oblong, which fits great in the fridge! If you like sweetened tea (like me), all you need to do is place some sugar in the pitcher before adding ice and let the machine do the work! Nice selection of options and it cooks and entire batch of rice correctly every time. I really like the warming mode after cooking, it makes timing the meal much easier. My previous cooker regularly over cooked the bottom. I had to double the batch to get the amount I wanted. Or I would try the stovetop, ususlly with similar results. Other reviews complained about the length of time it takes to cook a batch of rice. While it is true that a 20 minute stovetop batch becomes a 40-50 minute batch, the rice is cooked to perfection. Is cooking a batch of dry and burnt rice in 20 minutes really a comparison? I find that cleanup is quite easy if I remove the cover from the lid and wash it before the residue dries. The cooking pan is teflon so is easy to clean when I remove any leftovers to the refrigerator. The retractable power cord is way cool, makes storage easy. The instructions are a little light on cooking grains other than rice. Not surprising given it is a rice cooker. I will have to do some experimentation on cooking Kashi. Definitely as advertised. It has made my wife very happy. I highly recommend purchase of this model, as it cooks excellent rice every single time. A cheerful little product. Well made, well priced, and well cooked. Cleaning is easy, and the cord storage is wonderful (automatic retracting power cords should be a law for all small appliances). I haven't had any troubles of any kind. So I've been raised on 'instant' rice, and I just got this rice cooker - and it makes me sad that I was missing out on this delicious rice all those years. I've cooked around 5 different kinds of rice in this thing (sushi, brown, sweet, basmati, wild rice), and each and every batch has come out absolutely perfect. I'm dying to try out the porridge feature, I'll have to pick some up soon. One of the coolest features on this cooker is the timer. You set the time you want the rice to be done, and voila, the rice is done for you at exactly that time. So if you don't want to wait around for dinner after you get home, dinner will be waiting for you. This thing even plays music in place of timer beeps. How cool is that? This rice cooker is definitely worth paying a little extra more for. It does everything you could possibly want out of a rice cooker and more. I received this rice cooker today. I was torn with the size. Can I feed my family, and have leftovers with this? We are a family of five and was torn between the ten cup and the 5.5. After I ordered the 5.5 I really felt like I should have ordered the 10 cup, even though I am not crazy about adding more appliances to my limited counter space. Most reviews don't mention how much this cooker will feed. Well, for my family, we all ate to our hearts content and still had plenty of leftovers. Given that my kids are all eight and under, we don't need a larger cooker. It was quite a bit of rice that it makes! I can probably feed 7 people easily with this cooker. If you entertain a lot, or eat a lot (hello carbs) I'd go the next size up, not a big price difference. It produced excellent Sushi rice, not burned at all on the bottom, a first for me! Also, the song "Five" is a repeat for us, because it's on the "1,2,3 Count with Me" DVD, which we have. Overall, though, I still really like this DVD. It has catchy songs, a good selection of other characters, and (most importantly) it keeps my two-year-old son engaged. There aren't any "Elmo's World" segments, which is kind of a good thing. There are several Elmo's World DVDs out there to choose from, so this one is kind of unique. The story line is that Elmo is trying to decide which of his drawings he should put in the monster art show, and as he shows them to his friends to get advice, he winds up giving them all away. Each drawing represents one of his "best of" scenes through the years. Cute story line, fun scenes, and - of course - plenty of Elmo for your little ones. Its a cute video with Elmo songs and dances. I gave it a 4 star because it was pricey for only 35 minutes, and it could have been longer and it could have included other, even better songs. But, overall, our daughter really enjoys it. my 19 month old loves elmo and this elmo story is great. all the stories are tied together with the theme of which picture elmo should enter in the monster art contest. the songs are cute. there were two parts that my 19 month old found too intense and I just skippped through them. They were of Julia Roberts showing this is what being afraid looks like and the other was telly showing heavy vs. elmo showing light. It appeared that telly was being hurt. but all in all, I'd say buy this oneif your little one likes elmo. I find myself singing elmo's song while doing chores. It's catchy. The baby likes it because of all the la la las instead of words. This is the first Elmo DVD we purchased for our 15 month old son and he LOVES it! We have gotten a few others since, but he still likes this one the BEST! Even the story connectors between the actual Sesame Street video clips are well done. The songs are great. Both of my kids love this video. TheSesame Streetcharacter has fun singing some catchy new songs (you and your toddler just might, too), explaining the difference between light and heavy, having a laugh over pictures and numbers, and sharing the screen with a good-natured Whoopi Goldberg and Julia Roberts. (You gotta love her.) (AWESOME) As an Idol contestant, Kelli was adorable but a little rough around the edges. She has really polished her music. I didn't know much about Kellie Pickler until several months after her debut album Small Town Girl dropped. On iTunes I decided to check out her first single "Red High Heels" and, at first, couldn't stand it--but subsequent listens proved to lure me in and, eventually, I became more interested in the former Idol instead of dismissing her. I'm not a major fan of country music, although I can enjoy it on occasion, and it wasn't until I heard the heartfelt ballad "I Wonder" that I decided Small Town Girl deserved a further listen. Despite its hurried release, Pickler's debut is a hugely enjoyable piece of mainstream country, from its likable opening number and Top 10 second single "I Wonder" to, in all honesty, everything else! Pickler isn't an amazing singer in terms of originality (her nasal delivery is sweet, but unoriginal in comparison to other females of the genre), but she's undoubtedly talented, funny, witty and--probably most important in terms of her country fan base--still very much a "small town girl" at heart, which (more than anything) sells this startlingly consistent album. Made me cry in my car as I listened to "I Wonder". Don't worry, the other tracks are fun and good funky country music. We all love Kellie Pickler for being so refreshingly human. Now here is a real country girl who deserves everything that has come her way. Kellie has a great voice, and knows how to handle an audience. It is very obvious that Kellie belongs on a stage singing. Kellie is here for the long haul. Kellie's CD is great from beginning to end. She has the voice and heart of an angel. She co-wrote several of the songs. She sings from the heart. She has been ridiculed for her performance on Smarter than a 5th Grader which is totally uncalled for. She was doing what the show required but people can't seem to grasp that concept. I have purchased several of her CD's for gifts and the people who received them absolutely loved them. KELLIE PICKLER FAN FOREVER! This debut album by the small-town girl with the big, powerhouse voice showcases two distinctly different sides of Kellie Pickler's music. The hard-riffing uptempo material recalls the heartland rock of Bob Seger and John Mellencamp, with Pickler providing a good-ole-girl twang. Among the highlights are the emancipated strut of "Red High Heels," the playful humor of "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind," and the tomboy bluesiness of "One of the Guys." Yet theAmerican Idolfinalist turns pure diva on the over-the-top balladry of the album's other half, with swelling strings and arrangements that overpower rather than enhance "I Wonder" and "I'm on My Way." (better than "learning about numbers") My 1 year old can count to 14! The songs are funny and the both my kids love to watch it. This funny&entertaining video helps teach young kids to count. Each number has a catchy little song; the whole family enjoys it. My husband confessed to whistling these tunes while at work! This DVD has helped all my kids learn to count. Also, try Sesame Street's "Learning About Letters" for the alphabet. It is ok dvd. But the style is bit old. I think the numbers are flashing too fast. If children watch for long time I guess it would not be so good for their eyes. We bought this DVD about two weeks ago and already my 20-month old daughter has counted to three a couple of times (with a little assistance, but that's still pretty awesome in my opinion). She was not counting at all before this. I've also heard her saying random numbers out of order without my prompting. My daughter loves every character. I've read the bad reviews of Benny the Bunny, but I think it's been blown out of proportion. Sure he's surly, but so are people in real life. It also gave me a chance to explain to my daughter that people get crabby. She's allowed half an hour of tv twice a day, and for the past two weeks she's been choosing this DVD every time. Our two-and-a-half year old really got into this, but didn't like "learning about numbers" at all, except for one little sequence that show 2 girls playing with a dollhouse. the two dvds are actually quite different: this one features elmo and ernie and feels very much geared toward children while "learning about numbers" actually seems like they were trying to entertain children and adults at the same time by adopting a mock talk show format where big bird is supposed to be some kind of jay leno standup. plus there is a lot of "The Count" in that LAN, and our toddler didn't like him at all! Much better choice, I think, for toddlers. Only weakness is that they give short shrift or even skip over certain numbers between 1-20. Some kind of brainless editing decision by somebody who didn't get enought sleep, no doubt. Join Ernie at The Furry Arms Hotel for a musical lesson in just how useful counting can be. I saw an infomercial on TV on the WEN Sweet Almond Mint Conditioner and it seemed to be what I was looking for. It said it was for fine hair and that it was better than using a shampoo. I used it sparingly the first time because I was skeptical and I found it to make my hair limp. I have very fine hair and it seemed to retain too much oil in the hair and made it seem like I didn't even wash it. I cannot use it in place of a good shampoo but sometimes (since I have the bottle and don't want to throw it away) use it after I blow dry my hair just a drop or two to tame the the fly-aways. Unfortunately with my hair type I cannot just use this product by itself. First tried the Cucumber Aloe WEN line and it stripped my brand new professional hair color almost completely. Called WEN and they agreed to send the Sweet Almond line. With one use of this second line, when I took the towel off my head, I was shocked to see nearly white blonde hair and orange roots. I'm a natural brunette whose hair just gets blondish as it grows out so I'd had it lowlighted with chocolate and pecan color and loved it--for two days. I rarely use it. I bought a PS2 as a reccomendation from a friend. MAN! this thing rocks! First off, the thing is absolutely TINY. About the size of a large paper back book. 2nd, TONS of games! I bought Capcom Classics for $30, which came with about a dozen or so classic arcade games that I grew up with, most notibly for me SFII and all the assorted editions up to SFII Hyper Fighting. 3rd is the games are cheap, and the system is cheap! $129 for a game system with tons of titles, many in the $10 to $20 range. I got GTA III, GTAVC, And GTASA for $30. When they first came out, they easily would have cost me $180 plus tax. The PS2 takes me back to when games focused on being FUN! Not worring about how many pixels were being pushed on the screen and how fast. The PS2 is the best system out there right now hands down. I was considering purchasing a PS3, and I still might get one, but just for the Blu-Ray drive. I don't think I would play any of the PS3 games, the PS2 games are cheaper and more entertaining than fancy graphics. The ONLY negative I have with the PS2 is the egronomics of the controller. The Xbox and 360 controllers are more comfortable at least for me. I do not like the analog sticks at the bottom, they are not stiff enough for me, and the travel is too far. I am currently looking for aftermarket controllers. The square, X, circle, and triangle can be confusing at first for those fo you used to the regular abxy. This game console is tiny, easy to set up and works great. You barely even notice it sitting on top of the TV. I've had the original Playstation and playstation One systems when I was younger, and I was spectacle when I saw the Playstation 2 came out. I purchased one and I'm glad I did. The graphics are pretty decent and it has a great game library. (much better than it's brother... PS3)Not to mention that it's inexpensive and it lasts a long time. So I'm now without a Polaroid camera and out like $20. This camera arrived in great condition, despite the poor packaging and wrapping. It was packed in a soft cardboard box wrapped in Christmas paper, with no instructions, or original paperwork. I did have small bubble wrap surrounding it that kept it intact. Shipping was slow, but the product is great. Polaroid is a popular camera brand, especially its instant cameras. Unlike other cameras such as Kodak, Canon, and Vivitar, it is self-protected when you close the front top hood down. It is well prolonging and does not require any batteries at all. All you need is brand new or fresh Polaroid 600, 600 Plus, or 600 Platinum film which can be inserted into the base of the camera. Then, a green light appears/glows and you will be set to take awesome pictures. Another reason why this camera is popular is because you get the pictures instantly. I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go. The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes ojects closer to the camera larger in proportion to ojects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would whole-eartedly recommend it for anyone. This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actual picture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but I wouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment for the refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or for quick viewing. It has a classic "good girl-boy from the wrong side of the tracks" storyline. The acting is superb, but Jessica Steen (the good girl) does give a great performance as do some of the other supporting actors. The movie is interspersed with great music that culminates with great musical numbers at the end. If you are a fan classic 80's movies, then this is a must see. There is absolutely no denying that is a horribly acted piece of tripe. There are no redeeming qualities. And to whomever mentioned things like Grease&West Side Story in the same post with this movie should be throttled and committed. Don't waste your time. Get a GOOD musical. Oklahoma, South Pacific, Paint Your Wagon, Carousel, Grease, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Singin' in the Rain, and the myriad of others made in the 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. First of all, the U.S. government is not going to allow a true movie to come about any mission. Secondly, the director got the idea from someone who was obviously involved in this situation so don't blame them, blame the person who told it. Black Hawk Down contained fallacies itself. Don't believe me? The next time you watch a "military" movie, watch it with a servicemember: They will find something wrong. ACTUAL REPRESENTATION IS NOT ALLOWED. I enjoyed this movie immensely: The actors work well together and it imparts the idea that everyone has a reason for joining the military. It is interesting and I am happy to have it as part of my movie collection. This movie was a really good movie to sit down and just enjoy.If you take it as a military movie you might get pissed but itsa just a great movie.Please somebody put this out on dvd once more into the breach we go is my motto I believe to my view that the movie was great to a point. First Battalion Ninth Marine Regiment nicknamed"The Walking Dead"has been done a tremendous discredit by having their name associated with such Hollywood garbage. Read the book instead and don't waste one penny on this junk. The real story of 1/9 would make a tremendous movie. A preacher fleeing a town in which he murdered his wife and her lover, a teenage boy showing his love to his high school sweetheart, a former meatpacker trying to get money to start his own business, a mechanic trying to get onbase housing and fleeing housing discrimination in L.A., and a trigger happy guy fleeing the mob. This crew unites in The Marine Corps on a rescue mission that turns out to be a decoy mission. Hoover (Eddie Griffin) makes the movie enjoyable while Sgt. Barkley (joe Morton) keeps it military. Cole ( Allen Payne) keeps it real with the tiki and his insistence on not calling Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay. This movie covers the Black Veteran in Vietnam in a dramatic way. Starring Allen Payne and Eddie Griffin, five young marines are on a deadly mission in a desperate struggle for survival. How did they get to be there - and how are they going to get out alive? Where do I begin to tell you what a relief to see that this classic has been made available for home viewing. It was 1975 and I was 11 years old watching late night TV when a movie, I have never heard of, came on and I was immediately drawn in. Truly captivated by Anthony Newley and Sandy Dennis. I was exposed to my very first tear-jerker and to say I was touched would be a complete understatement. For years, every week I would scan through my TV Guide to find it but to no avail. This was a day when all Movies did not go to VHS after it's release. In my 20's I actually went to see Anthony Newley live in "Stop The World I Want To Get Off" (which he wrote and starred in) at a local theatre. My quest was to meet him and ask when I will see "Sweet November" again. After the show I begged to go backstage to meet him and my wishes were granted. There he was, a little man in a grey sweat suit still drying his hair with a towel. He was thrilled that I asked and responded that he had just had lunch with the writer of the movie the other day and "Sweet November's" future came up. No plans were set in stone at that time, he said. Fast forward, Anthony passed on and low and behold the rebirth of Sweet November came to life with Keanu Reeves. Unfortunately to my dismay it couldn't hold a candle to the original which will always have a special place in my heart. I am now 43 and oddly my daughter (my Angel) was born in November. Guess what I call her? Buy this movie! Rich I just thought of this and bought it instantly. If you want to draw comparisons, do so with Backstreet and Madam X but NOT the Keanu Reeves version. Much as I adore Keanu, his cannot compare to the Anthony Newley/Sandy Dennis combination that was the first Sweet November. I saw this movie when it opened in NYC (in those days to see first run movies you had to go uptown to the big theatres - local theatres would get them about a month or two later). I was 17 and remembered the last time I felt my heart break for a movie was West Side Story. I must thank Barry Eysman who wrote his review in 2002. It said beautifully everything I would like to say. My eyes filled up when I read it. I think the thing that made the original characters so appealing was they were not drop-dead gorgeous with leading man/lady good looks. They were believable. I felt as if I knew these people or at least could know them and relate to them. Since I saw this movie, every time I smell a new perfume on someone that appeals to me, I say "you smell like the main floor of Bloomingdale's". My college sweetheart, with whom I have reunited after 35 years, and I saw this unforgetable movie as a Sneak Preview in 1968. It was the most beautiful, but heart-wrenching movie I ever saw. The two of us remember crying in the car for a couple of hours after leaving the theatre. This movie shows true love never to be forgotten, with an ending that we shall remember for a lifetime. How wonderful there are reviews by customers who so much like this movie. who have also longed to see it again and who have waited for it to be available. I too love it, have remembered it vividly ever since it was first released, and think it a great thing to have it finally here. Anthony Newley and Sandy Dennis worked beautifully together. Theodore Bikel is so comforting, strong and protective. It is a tender, sad and beguiling story by Herman Raucher, every bit the equal of his"Summer of '42"and that is complimenting it indeed. A rare and heady blend of deepest emotion, of what love can do to persons, and what the terrible thrusting of the end of the world causes--the bittersweet romance, the gone away, but not in the heart ever leaving, the one special romance that aches the soul is always the finest, the most cherished. Unabashedly bigger than life, very much an old fashioned"romantic film,"filled with happiness and passion, and captivating. I've loved Anthony Newley for most of my life. Sandy Dennis is one of my favorite actresses. It needed no remake. Keneau Reeves in the Newley role? Oh, please, no. There is just this one and only classic November. It is impossible not to weep when Charlie so desperately wants Sweet November to stay, to capture the fleeting time, and to make a calander with only that month forever on it, caught in amber. Which is what this film has done. How can anyone not fall in love with a story in which Charlie names the sweater Sarah makes for him, because he loves it,"Rex"? New York has never been more captivating. Michel LeGrand's music is sublime. Fall and Thanksgiving and Sarah and Charlie and a most creatively sided box, and snow falling on the skylight. What more could a person wish for? The final magnificent song by Newley and Leslie Bricusse, sung in that electrifying Newley voice that will never be equaled, as the snow comes falling down around him on a park bench, his final goodbye, encompassing all the knowledge Sarah has given to him, for all hellos are goodbyes in disguise, breaks my heart every time I hear it. There can be no better, wiser"sentimental education." Even if Sandy Dennis did not look like my first love, I would have liked her immensely--tender, sad and trembly always it seemed, a delicate rose at the beginning of Fall, all the more lyrical for that. But November can't stay; it's why autumn is so magical. Now that both actors are so sadly gone, we have this gift of love and innocence to remember them by; a study of the kind of affection that counts, that gets into the bones, and joyous memories edged with the patina of sadness. New York in autumn has always seemed the best place in the world to me. This film has proven me right. This is by far the best bra I have EVER owned. I know it's pricey but believe me you get what you pay for. I am a 36 DDD, and have never found a bra that was comfortable. I always thought I needed a bra with thick straps to comfortable but when it fits properly around your torso, it doesn't put the same pressure on your shoulders. Buy one now. You will not regret it.

I LOVE THIS BRA!!! I am a full-figured lady and have tried all of the bras from Lane Bryant and was NEVER Comfortable. I decided to suck-it up, shell out the $72 and try this bra. I have never been so happy to spend the money. This bra never pokes my sides, digs into my shoulders, and provides support all day. I am very pleased with this bra and see why it is Oprah recommended. I definitely suggest this bra to anyone who is tired of the pain and suffering associated with cheap bras.
I'm 55 and wear a 40B. I've tried Olgas, Bali, Breezie, Penny's brand, etc. and this fits, fells and looks the best. It looks a bit like a breast plate but one I put a blouse or shirt on, my chest looks 18 again ! So I'm buying another Le Mystiqe in anther style.
I tried this on in the store but they didn't have it in nude. Great bra, especially for a bigger chest.

Every day in America, over 4,000 pregnancies are terminated. Each year, two to three million couples actively seek to adopt a child, but only 50,000 to 75,000 babies are available for adoption. Mike and Annie Sheaffer were one of those couples attempting to adopt but without success. Unexpectedly, they uncovered a middle ground between pro-life and pro-choice camps. They traversed the rocky road through open adoption and opened their hearts and home to two babies, while embracing an extended family relationship with the birth parents. Although I have not yeet finished the book, I found it be very helpful,and easy to follow. I have a hard time putting it down it very informative.
I read this book over the course of a week while trying to care for two newly adopted children in our home. Sheaffers went to extraordinary measures to achieve their dream of adopting two children. Having been through two adoptions myself, I could relate to the disappointment of infertility and the desire to have children. The book highlights the persistent faith of the Sheaffers and you will be amazed that people throughout the country caught their story and helped to make a dream reality. The first half of the book reads very fast. The middle slows down as the story of America's Crisis Pregnancy Helpline unfolds. The story of their second adoption also reads fast. If you are planning to adopt, this book is a must read. It won't tell you how to adopt or give you incredible resources, but it will give you a first hand account of the ups and downs that you will face. Each of their adoption stories overwhelmed me with memories of our first adoption of a newborn. While the book is written more for adoptive parents, it also highlights the tragic situation that faces women with unplanned pregnancies. If you are a birthmother, you will read about two very different birthmothers and their reaction to placing their child. Our second adoption had three false starts where birthmothers/fathers decided to parent the child after delivery. Also, if you are in a crisis pregnancy, the book is a better resource to connect you with adoption agencies and counseling.

(Without a doubt, Schick Titanium blades are the best I've ever used)
like the other review, i too found the titanium quattro blades to be superb - very comfortable (noticably different than even the regular quattro blades, i've found) and last forever (I regularly go over 3 weeks with a single blade, probably close to a month). I shave daily, too.
I havent tried the 5 blade gillette yet, but i've been so delighted with the titanium blades that i havent even been tempted to try anything else. Very close shaves, comfortable, looks great, and lasts forever. (one thing about the gillettes that a friend of mine mentioned is that the blades dont last nearly as long as the quattro's blades).
I don't have a heavy beard - it's about average. I can get away without shaving for three days and still have the "cool" scruffy look. On the fourth day, it becomes the "dirty" scruffy look, and so I shave.
Because I have sensitive skin, that's what I've been doing most of my life: shaving every third day, sometimes every fourth day. Anything less has always caused razor burn and bumps, regardless of the shaving cream or the razor. (I've been using Aveeno for Sensitive Skin for several years now - that switch was a definite plus. Anytime I use anything different, the shaving suffers.)
But with Schick's new Titanium razors, I can shave *every* day and not cause razor burn or bumps. When my parents see me clean shaven every time they visit me, or I visit them, they (especially my Mom) will be extremely happy. Never mind that I'm 40...you know how parents are.
One reviewer has said that the four blades cause more nicks. I haven't found that to be the case. I've yet to nick myself once, although having said that, I'll probably nick myself when I shave today.Knock on wood.
Finally, the blades last for a very long time; much longer than any blade I've ever used. Although they're very expensive now, I think they're well worth the extra expenditure. I can shave more often, and the blades last longer than the blades I used when I shaved every third day.
This is definitely a win-win.

This is one of the best I have come across and highly recommended to everyone. Thumbs down. Didn't even finish the first game. It was so hung up on graphics that it forgot that the purpose was the game itself! I needed a sudoku source generated without the internet (my employer's server blocks all sudoku puzzles!) The layout is marginal. The rows and columns are difficult to read. The easy puzzles are ok but the medium is too hard. They require notation which I associate with the 4 star or hard level. The game was cheap and it is better than nothing but there must be better products on the market. I had just started doing Sudoku puzzles. I was trying to find some on the internet to print and do when I came across Amazon and Sugoku Puzzle Addict during one of my searches. My wife and I have been playing the Ultimate Puzzle Games Sudoku game for the DS for a few months now. We both like to play at the Hard difficulty setting. The Extreme difficulty setting seems to lead to frustration most of the time, and I'm not sure that my brain is capable of solving some of those extreme puzzles, even though I've scoured the Internet for sudoku tips. After several bad experiences, I'm inclined to think that at least some of these Extreme puzzles aren't really fair, in the sense that they cannot be solved logically. What makes this game so much more fun than the sudoku in Brain Age 2 is 1) you don't have to run a gauntlet of annoying nonsense to get started with the sudoku game, 2) you can very quickly enter small numbers into a bunch of boxes by simply tapping each box in succession (once you've touched the two appropriate keys to the left of the screen) and 3) you can just as easily remove small numbers from a bunch of boxes by tapping each one (once you've touched the three appropriate keys to the left of the screen). Since you're going to need to use small numbers to solve puzzles at the Hard level, having an efficient method for adding and removing these numbers makes the game more enjoyable. My main reservation about this game is that at least some of the Extreme puzzles seem to be impossible to solve. I wish I knew more about sudoku puzzle design, but it seems to me that a good sudoku puzzle must be a product of a human brain, rather than something generated by a computer. Since these puzzles are supposedly generated randomly by the software, that may account for the absence of solvable puzzles at the Extreme setting. Addendum: After writing this review, I've learned a little more about solving Extreme puzzles. For one thing, I've found that even my local newspaper prints some level 4 puzzles that cannot be solved using the techniques I learned on-line. The newspaper provides a link to a web site, www.sudoku.org.uk, which explains most of the techniques that I previously learned, and - when these techniques don't work - actually recommends guessing to solve more difficult puzzles! I didn't know that it was OK to guess! If it's OK to guess on more difficult puzzles, I should raise my rating for this Ultimate Puzzle Games Sudoku game to 5 stars, since it makes solving puzzles by guessing very easy. At the extreme setting (the only setting where guessing should be necessary), when I reach an impasse after using all the logical tricks I know to solve a puzzle, I just select a square that has only 2 small numbers in it. It should be a square where guessing will lead to changes in other squares. I write the square's address (e.g. row 2, column 3) on a piece of paper, together with the 2 available small numbers. Then I arbitrarily guess and circle the choice I made on my piece of paper. I can then move along through the puzzle until I reach a contradiction, telling me that I guessed wrong. At that point, I repeatedly touch the Undo button on the left margin of the sudoku screen until I get back to where I was when I guessed. Now I can guess the other available small number, and the puzzle should soon be solved. Incidentally, another nice feature of this game is that it allows you to enter a sudoku game you might find in a book or newspaper and solve it using the DS machine, which is easier than writing and erasing small numbers on paper. If you love Sudoku you will love this game. I'm hooked. I love the touch screen and other user friendly features of this game. Good interface for entering your numbers and allowing you to make notes for possible solutions. If you like Sudoku and have a DS then this is a good value for what you get. Unlimited games too. It generates new grids. Brain Age's Sudoku doesn't have that. Enjoy. Sudoku title for the Nintendo DS. I've owned a couple of the other games available for the DS and this one is simply the best and easiest to use. My major complaint about other versions was having to use the control pad to get to the box you wanted to place a number in. In the Ultimate Puzzle Games edition, you tap the number and just tap the boxes you want that number to be placed in...simple. You truly get the feel of the game as if you were playing on paper with a pencil. Speaking of pencils...you can make pencil marks, erase, or undo the last move made. There is also a set time to beat but it does not end the game should you go over the time limit, it's just a goal. A graph up top keeps track of how many times each number is used and in a way can guide you as to which number to try and fill in first. I've only played on the easy setting so far to get the hang of the game play itself. I would rate easy as and equivalent of medium in the puzzle books. I don't think there is the fear of running out of games as it's supposed to generate new ones automatically. I haven't tried any of the other grids available as I just love the original premise of the game. I bought this game two weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it since...a great addition to your game library :-) All Sudoku games are not alike. I wish this was available for the pc also. I am in agreement with many of the reviewers here--that Platinum Sudoku is very good but comes in second to the sudoku provided in brain age. The interface is somewhat annoying--it seems like a lot of tapping in order to get the possible numbers entered. And I agree that the default font is somewhat hard to read. I appreciate that there is a left-handed set up for the number pad. Overall, I think I have already gotten my money out of this game, and I've only had it for around a week. I really like this game. Sure, we could do without the "coach", but I just ignore them. I mainly play the sudoku puzzles. Even when you finish the levels, there is another section with endless amounts of puzzles from each level. I don't think I will ever finish them all! So, I will never get tired of this game. I also have both Brain Ages, but I don't like writing the numbers. And I don't like the zooming in and out on Brain Age. This game, you can use buttons instead of writing. I find it is faster because it doesn't know what I am trying to write half the time. There are also options like all the possible numbers for each square automatically, but I think that is only for the Easy level. You can also do newspaper mode and turn all the hints and extras off. I think even without newspaper mode you have the option to turn hints off. There is also a solver area where you can put in numbers and it will give you a solution. I've been tempted to use it with one of the game's own puzzles, but haven't yet. You can also make your own grid, but I am not sure how that works. There are also mini games, but I don't really play those as much. I think the kakuro options are the same as the sudoku ones, but I don't really play that game either. There is also a tips section, but you have to unlock those. That seems kind of backwards to me. I recommend if this game if you just want a ton of sudoku puzzles and are not picky about the extras. You do have to finish the Easy level to get to medium and so forth. I think there are 5 levels. I forget the ones after Hard. ETA: After the Hard level there is Pro (you have 3 lives and lose a life with every wrong answer) and Sudoku-X. I have never tried Sudoku-X and would like to, but I have to pass the Pro level (already passed Easy-Hard). That is the only thing I do not like about this game. You have to unlock the levels. It would make more sense to unlock everything at least after finishing Hard. A couple of features make this game handy to play, and quicker to solve. However, the "auto-fill in" is handy but it makes the game too simple. A person just starting to learn to play Sudoku might think it is helpful, but it will keep them from learning to play it without that feature. I recommend this game to experienced players. Many reviewers give top nods to Brain Age sudoku, with this package coming in second. I'd have to disagree. This offers many features that I think bring it far above Brain Age. 1) Holding game unit like normal. I find the position change for Brain Age to be annoying. Especially when you could work on an advanced Sudoku Puzzle for a protracted amount of time. 2) "number pad" available for entry. You can write in (like BA) or select from a number pad. I find the number pad faster, so I really like this option. Also, it's much easier to do 'pencil' marks than in Brain Age. In BA you have to write small. And if you don't write small enough, you do it over. 3) Lots of display options. For someone who plays a lot of Sudoku it's nice to be able to customize the environment so it's easy on the eyes and has the level of 'hints' you want. For instance you can operate in newspaper mode, which shows you nothing. On easy level, you can have it show all possible solutions, which cell is easiest to solve and so on. The default for all levels is to show the number in purple if your answer is possible and red if your number isn't possible with the current entries. There're also various number fonts available, which is nice so you can find one that's easy for you to read. 4) You CAN do one-touch write entries. Other reviewers stated you can't just touch a cell and write. That is inaccurate, but there's a specific way it has to be done. If you touch a cell and lift the stylus, you can then either touch it again for a blow-up of the cell to write (like BA), or you can enter with the number pad. However, if when you first touch the cell, you start to write your number, it will automatically pop up the cell just like in BA. In BA you touch a cell to get the enlarged cell, then you write. In Platinum Sudoku, touch the cell and immediately begin writing and the cell will enlarge. 5) The lessons are great. One downside is you'll have to play a certain number of puzzles before you unlock the really good lessons. 6) Kakuro included is nice. The easy Kakuro are insanely easy, so good for a beginner 7) Bonus games. There are some bonus games that are quite enjoyable. There's a mini minesweeper game, an old-fashioned shuffle puzzle, pair match logic problem and so on. A fun diversion when the puzzles are getting tedious. There's a game called subtract that can be a serious mind bender. Unfortunately, most of the games are 'unlocked' after you play enough of the sample puzzles. The down sides, and the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) As others have mentioned, the coaches are annoying and you can't get rid of them. 2) Character recognition is not as good as BA. I had to change the way I write my 4's&7s to get them to register correctly. Having to be more precise in the writing is why I find the number pad entry faster. 3) Time clock disappears when you complete the game. That really irritates me. When I complete a puzzle, the first thing I want to know is how long it took me. But the minute you put in the last number the 'coach' covers the screen telling you how wonderful you did. You can find the final time by clicking on the puzzle from the menu, but I think not showing the time when you complete the puzzle is a design flaw. 4) The whole game is driven on unlockables. It gets annoying. It talks about 20 million puzzles, but you have to complete all 100+ sample easy puzzles to unlock the 5 million possible easy puzzles, and so on with medium, hard and pro. You can't even play Pro until you complete all the hard sample puzzles (around 100). One of the things I wanted this game for was Sudoku X, which you can't get until you play the 100 Pro puzzles, which you can't get until you complete the 100 easy, 100 medium and 100 hard. That really upset me. I paid for the game and shouldn't have to complete more than 500 puzzles to play one of the advertised 'features'. 5) There are a few things about the game that are not intuitive and you have to consult the booklet. For instance, how to do the one-touch write-in method I mentioned above. Or how to save your game. Little things that are annoying as you play. 6) Puzzle ratings are sometimes way off. Some of the 'easy' puzzles are brain bendingly hard, while there are some 'hard' puzzles that you can complete in under 5 minutes. 7) Pro level is designed BADLY. Once you get to pro level, you're given 3 lives to complete the puzzle. The idea is you make a mistake, you lose a life and try again. 3 mistakes, game over. The problem comes with what qualifies as a 'mistake.' It's not whether or not your solution is correct, it's whether or not you make one contradictory entry. Not even a wrong entry. Just doesn't fit with the puzzle. For instance, if you accidentally put in a 2 instead of a 5 and don't notice, then in another grid you put in a 2 that is correct for the puzzle, but doesn't fit with your erroneous 2 from before, you lose a life. The answer you put in may be right, but since it contradicts your current solution, you're down a life. This happens to me all the time when I accidentally tap the wrong number or it recognizes the wrong written number. I mean to tap the 7 and hit the 4 and lose a life. I write in a 7 and it recognizes a 2 and I lose a life. It's so badly designed I'd almost take another star off for it. Overall, if you're a serious sudoku player, this is a much better choice than brain age. More puzzles, better playing environment, nice tutorials, etc. It's offset like any game with some annoyances, but overall is the best package out there. However, if you're only interested in seriously advanced puzzles, the poor design in the Pro level may make you consider another product. This device enjoyable and easy to operate, however,it is easier to see in dim lighting. I ordered this because of the backlighting, but the contrast is not adjustable, which means it's very difficult to see unless you have it at the exactly right angle. Also, the font or text displayed is just not easy to work with. I had hoped to give this to my Dad who is a big Sudoku junkie, but considering I have perfect vision and can't work with this, I doubt he'll enjoy it with his less than great vision. I had read reviews on every electronic version Amazon has and thought this one offered the best bang for the buck, but have now concluded that there just isn't a good version out there yet. Maybe on a Game Boy or something. This toy combines both fun and education for kids. It is easy to handle feasable and durable. The Good - Quite good for the price it comes for. Ease of use comes with practice. Not too huge not too small, perfect size. The Bad - You have to use the back-light to view the numbers clearly unless you plan to hold it constantly at a certain angle. Contrast could have been better.
